A House That Preserved the Soul of Historic Jeddah
شُيِّد عام ١٦١٣Est. 1613
شُيِّد بيت المتبولي عام 1613م ويُعدّ أحد أقدم البيوت التاريخية الباقية في جدة حتى اليوم.
ويقع البيت في قلب منطقة جدة التاريخية «البلد»، المدرجة ضمن قائمة التراث العالمي لليونسكو، حيث يمثّل نموذجًا استثنائيًا للعمارة الحجازية التقليدية وأنماط الحياة الاجتماعية التي ازدهرت في المدينة عبر القرون.
كان البيت مقرًّا لعائلات تجارية بارزة ارتبطت أنشطتها بالحركة التجارية المزدهرة التي جعلت من جدة بوابة رئيسية للحجاج والتجار القادمين من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
واليوم تم الحفاظ على البيت بعناية ليبقى شاهدًا حيًّا على تفاصيل الحياة اليومية والعادات والتقاليد التي شكّلت هوية جدة التاريخية.

Built in 1613, Bayt Al-Matbouli is one of the oldest surviving homes in Historic Jeddah. Located within the UNESCO-listed district of Al-Balad, the house stands as a remarkable example of traditional Hijazi architecture and urban life.

يجسّد بيت المتبولي عبقرية العمارة الحجازية التقليدية التي طُوّرت لتلائم طبيعة المناخ والحياة الاجتماعية في المنطقة.
وقد بُني باستخدام الأحجار المرجانية المستخرجة من البحر الأحمر، ليجمع بين المتانة والجمال في آنٍ واحد.
وتُعدّ الرواشين الخشبية أشهر عناصره المعمارية، حيث كانت توفّر الخصوصية والتهوية الطبيعية والحماية من أشعة الشمس، كما أصبحت رمزًا مميزًا لجدة التاريخية.
